Wheningressfilteringisenabledonaport, theVLANIDs ofincomingframesarecomparedtothe

port’segresslist.IfthereceivedVLANIDdoesnotmatchaVLANIDontheport’segresslist,

thentheframeisdropped.

IngressfilteringisimplementedaccordingtotheIEEE802.1Q

standard.

ThisexampleenablesportingressfilteringonGigabitEthernetport3inslot1:

matrix-x(switch-su)#set port ingress-filter ge.1.3 enable
