Ifallisnotspecified,stackingconfigurationparameterswillnotbecleared.
Mode
Switchcommand,read‐write.
Usage
Whenusingtheclearconfigcommandtoclearconfigurationparametersinastack,itisimportant
torememberthefollowing:
•UseclearconfigtoclearconfigurationparameterswithoutclearingstackunitIDs.This
commandWILLNOTclearstackparametersandavoidstheprocessofre‐numberingthe
stack.
•Useclearconfigall
whenitisnecessarytoclearallconfigurationparameters,includingstack
unitIDs(ifapplicable)andswitchpriorityvalues.
•UsetheclearipaddresscommandtocleartheIPaddress.
Configurationparametersandstackinginformationcanalsobeclearedonthemasterunitonlyby
selectingoption10(restoreconfigurationto
factorydefaults)fromthebootmenuonswitch
startup.Thisselectionwillleavestackingprioritiesonallotherunits,ifapplicable.
all (Optional)Clearsuser‐definedconfigurationparameters(andstackunit
numbersandpriorities,ifapplicable).
