ManagementModuletocontrolthemanagementfunctionsforallDFE‐Gold modulesin

thechassis.TheManagementModulehandlesallIPrequeststothechassisIPaddress,

suchasPING,Telnet,SNMP,HTTP,andmore.The

ManagementModulealsohandlesthe

CLIconfigurationsessionsthroughtheconsoleport.So,whenyouplugintoa

DFE‐Gold moduleCOMporttoconfigureaDFE‐Gold moduleinthechassis,itishandled

bytheManagementModuleregardlessoftheDFE‐Gold moduleCOMportthatyouuse.
